About the event
Hailing from small-town southeast Saskatchewan, Blu Beach Band is a 4-piece ensemble that exudes passion-fuelled coming-of-age energy. This indie-rock group, consisting of Carter Vosper (vocals & guitar), Remi Berthelet (guitar), Eric Vosper (bass) and Riley Buchberger (drums), have been jamming together since their pre-teen days. Now, Blu Beach Band have cranked it up to 11 and transformed their part-time hobby into a full-fledged musical venture. In the past year alone they have played at over 30 venues and shows, including a 16 show summer long tour of Saskatchewan to promote their new EP “A Dog’s Breakfast” released on June 4th.
Blu Beach Band draws inspiration from an eclectic mix of artists, ranging from Mac Demarco, The Black Keys, Vulfpeck to A Tribe Called Quest. The group’s dazed-and-confused tone, paired with their energetic sunny vibes, will get any crowd up on their feet. The band has proven their ability to rock a wide array of stages; from Music Festivals to theatres to rock clubs; and have opened for Canadian legends Trooper and Streetheart, and most recently Prism.
Blu Beach Band is currently based out of Regina, SK and are working hard to release a full length Album in 2023 followed by an extensive tour.
